# cherry π > A terminal desktop where agents ask first. Shells, vendor agents such as Claude Code and Codex, and Picache, cherry π's own agent, work side by side. A workspace is split into layers, each with its own folder, panes and conversation. Every call an agent makes into the workspace goes through one interface: allowed, asked or refused by policy, and recorded either way. ## Docs - [Field manual](manual.html): how the workspace works, in plain language, as of 2 November 2026 - [Field manual as Markdown](manual.md): the same text, with each diagram as its description - [Extensions](extensions.html): addons, .pi apps and Cellar Door worlds - [Extensions as Markdown](extensions.md): the same text, with each diagram as its description - [What if…](whatif.html): technical questions about failure and attack, answered with what is built - [What if… as Markdown](whatif.md): the same text - [Everything in one file](llms-full.txt): this index followed by the manual, the Extensions page and What if
